It found that regular wine drinkers had the least instance of heart disease. 

Another study, conducted at the University of California at San Marcos School of Medicine, considered that the bottom amount of heart disease was found among people in countries that had the highest rate n! Wine consumption. Researchers also found that the bottom heart disease rates occurred where people ate a great deal of fruit. The idea stems from the nearnessy of flavonoids found in wine's non-alcoholic compounds (natural antioxidants). Phenolic flavonoids are found in the skin, seeds, and stems of red grapes. Antioxidants are believed to be one factor that protects bodies from oxidation. Oxidation of Ldl cholesterol may lead to artery blockage and heart attacks. Thus, phenolics may disrupt this pattern.

Fresh fruits have a high concentration of phenolics and wine, after the fermentation of grapes, has an increased concentration of the chemical. Red wine has an exceptional amount of phenolics because it contains whole-fruit extracts.

However, some people are still skeptical of these findings and note that alcoholic drinks are related with other health risks. These include esophageal, throat, and mouth cancers, liver disease, and breast cancer. But these risks may be related with the actual alcohol article of the drinks; some experts say that the phenolic antioxidants of wine counter these problems.

However, do not think of wine as a cure-all; rather, it should be something to enjoy and used with restraint. 

In any event, as the experts study the facts, the best advice is to drink in moderation and remember to drink responsibly and designate a driver for the ride home. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy one to two glasses of wine each day.
